Samsung has just announced a brand new way for Samsung Pay users to earn bonuses.
Samsung says that its new Samsung Rewards program is the first-of-its-kind in the mobile wallet space. With it, users will be able to earn points that can be used to buy Samsung products, gift cards to popular retailers, or a prepaid Samsung Rewards Visa gift card. These points will be banked every month and will accumulate based on every single transaction made with Samsung Pay.
There are ways to earn bonuses, too. A Samsung Pay user that conducts five transactions in a month will earn “Silver” status, which means they’ll earn twice the points for every transaction. Folks that use Samsung Pay 20 times per month will earn “Gold” status, which triples the points earned for each transaction. Samsung Pay users that conduct 30 transactions per month will get get “Platinum” status, which earns quadruple points for every transaction.
Samsung will also roll out “Instant Win” packages, which will start out with a trip for two to Napa Valley, California, with new rewards being rotated in “regularly.”
Samsung Rewards rolls out beginning this week in the United States.
